Action for Children pay update – industrial action ballot

Published: 7 September 2011
Lengthy pay talks between the unions and Action for Children on pay have not resulted in an offer that the union negotiators can recommend to members. We will therefore be balloting members on whether they wish to take industrial action. This bulletin updates members on this issue, as well as various other terms and conditions issues about which we are currently in talks with Action for Children.

This new guide brings together existing advice provided by UNISON, the TUC and ACAS, and provides specific advice for reps organising in charities, housing associations and the rest of the community and voluntary sector.
