Stop the BNP

Don't let the BNP break up our public services

In 2012 there will be local council elections across England, Scotland and Wales in May, alongside elections for the London mayoralty and the London Assembly.

The British National Party (BNP) will be seeking to use these elections to exploit people's fears and anxieties in the current economic climate. UNISON believes in a fairer society that values all its members equally, irrespective of their race, nationality, gender, sexual orientation or disability - a society where social justice, good jobs and quality public services comes first, not racism, hate and fear.

UNISON represents everybody - the BNP does not.

How UNISON members can help stop the BNP

UNISON will be organising and campaigning against the far-right in your region. If you are interested in getting involved please visit Regional Activities to get contact details for your region.

In addition, you can sign up to the HOPE not hate campaign - and find out more about what you can do

With your support we can stop the BNP. We have done it before and we can do it again.
