International meetings and events 2012
The SEIRC meets four times a year. Meeting dates and minutes are available from Daphne Kabia at d.kabia@unison.co.uk. Along with Branch International Officers, SEIRC members are able to attend the twice yearly seminars organised by the national international unit.

17th September 2012 – International Seminar – UNISON Centre London
10th December 2012 “South America” – UNISON Centre London

Objective
UNISON’s regional international committees support and reinforce the activities of the main International Unit, promoting the organisation’s priorities and concerns on international issues.Activities
The activities of the international committee involve solidarity with trade union colleagues overseas, representation at external events and educational initiatives.

Branches are encouraged to identify an international contact/officer – someone in the Branch who is willing to receive and circulate information on international issues.
How you can help
The International Unit always needs help with urgent actions which it issues regularly throughout the year
