We negotiate changes to improve pensions on behalf of our members, and defend the pensions of members who are transferred between employers - from the public to the private sector.

Civil Service pension scheme proposed final agreement Ð sent to UNISON by the cabinet office on 9 March 2012
(15/03/2012) - Local Government and NHS pensions that have been in payment for a year to increase by 5.2% from the 9 April 2012
All public service pensions which have been in payment for a year will be increased by 5.2% from 9 April 2012 in line with the increase in the cost of living, as measured by the increase in the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) over the 12 months between October 2010 and September 2011. Read more here
