NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) Forum
The Blood and Transplant Forum is composed of representatives from every blood centre within England and North Wales. Members are drawn from across the spectrum of NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) occupations, covering donor care, driving, nursing, marketing, planning, administration and management, within both the UK Transplant, and National Blood Service arms of NHSBT.
The forum meets three times a year to determine strategy on the key issues of importance to members within NHSBT.

At the forum's annual general meeting, elections take place to UNISON seats on the various NHSBT bodies for negotiation and consultation with staff. UNISON reps argue the members' case at the main National Joint Staff Committee (NJSC) and its many sub-groups, such as the Donor Services Committee, Nurses Forum, Group Services Forum, Diversity Working Group and Policies Working Group.
