UNISON represents all grades in these groups:

• Occupational therapists
• Physiotherapists
• Speech and language therapists
• Radiographers
• Podiatrists/Chiropodists
• Dieticians
• Orthoptists
• Art, music and drama therapists
• Technical instructors
• Helpers/Assistants

UNISON joins with other staff side organisations in presenting evidence to the pay review body and holds the chair of the staff side. We also represent members with employers locally and with the Health Professions Council on regulatory questions and have long campaigned for improved grading and pay. UNISON has a long-standing arrangement with the British Association of Occupational Therapists.
